Precedent on the road

Our team tackled six seminars in three cities in 10 days.

In our first Precedent road show, we ran a series of seminars mixing members from our Oz and UK teams. Lindsay Herbert from Precedent Cardiff and Adrian Porter from Precedent London joined us as we toured from Perth to Melbourne via Canberra, talking all things digital from handy social media tips to advice and best practise for universities and councils.

During this time, we covered a variety of topics, including the use of social media, giving hands on advice about what organisations should and could do to best utilise these online sources. We also held a seminar reviewing university websites as effective communication tools and a detailed consideration of the findings of our report in to West Australian council websites. We met with some 200 people over these sessions and attendees were very positive. Everyone left with lots of ideas to use as foundations for further work on their websites.

Where you there? If so do let us know what you thought and if you have any recommendations about future topics, we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a line at seminars@precedent.au.com.
